An in-depth look at “Life’s Principles” through 10 Biomimietic products. Making nature-inspired design tangible for the public.

Discover the Lilly Impeller designed using advanced fluid dynamics to improve energy efficiency.

National Design Awards Gala: 6pm – 9 pm
Cooper Hewitt Design Museum.
Janine Benyus to be honored with the 2012 Design Mind Award from the Smithsonian’s Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum.

Thursday, October 18th
BNYC Pop-Up Exhibit: 10am – 4 pm

An in-depth look at “Life’s Principles” through 10 Biomimietic products and interactive displays. This Exhibit will make nature-inspired design tangible, providing a look at cutting edge technologies.
