Co-founded in 1997 by Janine Benyus and Dr. Dayna Baumiester, Biomimicry 3.8 is the global leader in biomimicry innovation consulting, professional training, and educational program and curricula development. Their mission is to train, equip, and connect engineers, educators, architects, designers, business leaders, and other innovators to sustainably emulate nature’s 3.8 billion years of brilliant designs and strategies.


Biomimicry Institute

The Biomimicry Institute focuses on bringing Life’s Principles to the masses by hosting the Global Biomimicry Network as well as the Global Design Challenges. The Institute is also advancing, a web based portal for life’s solutions.

Omega Institute

Omega Institute for Holistic Studies is a non-profit educational retreat center located in Rhinebeck, New York. The host to several biomimicry conferences and workshops, Omega brings professionals together of all backgrounds and interest, helping the biomimicry and other communities to expand and grow.
